What's on?

• The Forestry Commission’s first Forest Park – Argyll – surrounds this Club Site. The Visitor Centre introduces the area.
• Several beautiful walks can be taken from the Club Site. Ben Arthur –locally known as The Cobbler – is one of Scotland’s most spectacular mountains. It is a challenging climb, but there are treks for walkers of all abilities in the area.
• Inverary attractions include a 19th century jail and the floating Maritime Museum, housed on the Arctic Penguin.
• Auchindrain Township Open Air Museum gives a glimpse of Highland life in Victorian times, bringing a farming village back to life.
• Anglers can catch sea trout and mackerel from Loch Long directly from the Club Site.
• Ardkinglas Woodland Garden has an impressive collection of rhododendrons.
• Small boats such as inflatables and kayaks can be taken through the loch-side gate and launched on Loch Long. There are also opportunities for watersports on nearby Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne.
• The West Highland Line is one of the world’s most memorable rail trips. Trains stop at Arrochar and Tarbet stations.
• Glencoe, Fort William, Oban, Dunoon, Stirling and the Trossachs, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Luss are all a drive away.
